Finding Your Place in Our Witchy Community
I’ve been thinking a lot about community lately, and I wanted to share something with you. You know I’ve been on social media quite a bit, especially TikTok, but I recently decided to take a break from it. It was just too much information overload. My brain was getting crammed with so much short, cheap content that I started craving something slower, more relaxing, and more genuine. I wanted to enjoy things without feeling overwhelmed.
Stepping back from TikTok did have some downsides. My follower count went down, and my views on videos took a dive. I tried to post a video to test the waters, and it was a total flop—lowest views I’ve had in a long time. But you know what? I realized it doesn’t matter. What truly matters is having the right people in my life, people who make me feel grounded and at home. That’s why I’m writing to you.
The truth is, my community isn’t about numbers or trends—it’s about people like you. The Naturally Modern Witch isn’t just any witch. We don’t fit into every mold, and that’s okay. My coven isn’t for everyone, but that’s the beauty of it. It’s a space for genuine connections, and you’re a huge part of that.
If my TikTok break led me to finding you, even if it meant losing followers, then I consider it a win. Because having the right people in my life, those who understand and appreciate the journey, is worth so much more than a high follower count. It’s about building a community that feels right, and you’ve been a big part of making that happen.
