How to Find Time to Practice Witchcraft

Witchcraft for beginners

As a busy witch, it can be difficult to find time to practice witchcraft. Trust me, as a mom of three, I know the struggle of trying to find the time. Whether you’re working full time, taking care of a family, or just have a lot on your plate – making time for your craft can seem impossible. But trust me, it’s worth it. Here are some tips on how to find time to practice witchcraft even when you’re short on hours.

Make time for your witchcraft practice every day

Make time for yourself every day and do something that makes you happy. This will help you practice witchcraft by connecting to joy. Even if it’s just for 5 minutes, do something that brings you joy and connection to energies or spirits around you. Charm your morning drink, greet the sun, or breathe in the deep fresh air.

Dedicate a specific time each week to practice witchcraft

Witchcraft planning

Dedicate a specific time each week(ish) to practice witchcraft. I like to be sure to observe the New & Full Moons as well as the seasonal shifts. These don’t have to be big. Moons for personal rituals, emotions, and self-care. While solar celebrations are more family or group events. They are also celebrated as a whole season or month so eating a seasonally inspired dinner counts.

Find a place where you can be undisturbed when practicing witchcraft

Find a place in your home where you can be alone and undisturbed. Set up a Sacred Space in a bedroom, garden, or bookshelf. Any small space will do and spend a few minutes there every day. Even if it’s just a few breaths or affirmations.

Gather the supplies you need for your witchcraft practice

You don’t need elaborate ingredients. Start with a word that describes your need and intention. Then, look up corresponding ingredients. Another way, is to go in your kitchen and look up magical properties of _____ and adjust your need and intention to match what you already have. For example instead of attracting money, maybe banish debt.

Be patient - it takes time to develop your witchcraft skills

If you’re new to witchcraft, it’s important to remember that it takes time and practice. So be patient with yourself, give yourself time to learn and grow, and most importantly, enjoy the journey. After all, the best part of witchcraft is the community of fellow witches you’ll meet along the way. Welcome to the wonderful world of witchcraft!
